"A woman's place is in the home ... building and repairing it!"

Calling all girls, ages 16 to 100, experienced or inexperienced, walking or in a wheelchair, sighted or unsighted or ....? Come be a part of Chris's Bad Girls, a 501(C)(3) non-profit corporation. CBG is a crew of philanthropic women in a "nontraditional" way. It's also women with a sense of humor who have the common goal of helping the financially challenged for free. Chris's Bad Girls began when a small group of women in Bend, OR, banded together to build the first all-women constructed Habitat house in Oregon. When they broke ground for their house, they were the third all-women built Habitat house in the US. Building homes exclusively for Habitat for Humanity, Chris's Girls will soon have a presence in 5 US states and Russia. Ranging in age from 16 to 84 years, with the exception of Chris, a general contractor, none of the women were builders. In fact, some had never swung a hammer except to hang a picture. The second in command was picked solely because she had once built a dog house. But the crew learned quickly and soon became builders. The common feeling shared is one of empowerment; the group came believes that if they can build a house, they can do anything!
